Climate In Delhi
The weather of the national capital is extremely varied from month to month. Delhi lies 225m above the sea level. People of Delhi are lucky enough to experience five different continental climate patterns every year. The five seasons of Delhi are summers, monsoon, autumn, winter and spring. Summers are the longest phase and stretch for about six –seven months from April to October followed by the rainy season that starts from mid June-July till August. The monsoon is a pleasurable time of the year in Delhi. Summers in Delhi are usually witnessed with high temperature soaring the mercury and dust storms, but with the rains in the monsoon, the nights in summers become comparatively cooler to balance the hot days. After this comes the autumn period that lasts till November before the winters. The winters step in November and stays till February when temperature sometimes dips to as low as two degrees or even less then that. Winters are the time when people in Delhi take full pleasure of the fog and mist and chilly waves.
The best time to visit Delhi for travel purpose is considered to be in the spring time in the month of February to April or autumn season from august to November, because this is the time when the climate of Delhi is found to be moderate, not too cold and not too hot. This is the perfect time to travel and experience Delhi.
