Day 01 : Delhi Arrival

A story inlaid in marble and precious stones of a lovelorn Emperor who promised his Queen on deathbed that he would not marry again ever story says that the Emperor was devastated by the death of his Queen that he grew old overnight and went into a self imposed solitary exile. A story that encompassed 22 years to be build by 20,000 skilled artisans who inlaid the white marble edifice with precious and semi precious stones thousands of elephants lugged marbles from mines in and around Agra tones of precious stones were bought and brought from different countries and the work continued day and night. 0630 to 1245 Hours:

Our representative would be met at Delhi location domestic airport or Internatioal airport or hotel and pick up from drive to same day trip to Agra. On arrival visit to Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal (World Heritage Site) - This most beautiful monument of love was built during 1630 by grieving emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal is flawless to its conception and execution. It is aptly said that Taj Mahal is not a monument that can be described in words one has to see it to experience it.

1300 to 1400 Hours:

Enjoy a lavish buffet's lunch at in your tour to Agra.

1400 to 1500 Hours:

After lunch visit the Agra Fort. Agra Fort - Foundation led by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, four of the mighty Munhall rulers controlled their vast empire from here. Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors famous amongst which are Jahangir Mahal, Khass Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass, Diwan-i-Am, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid etc. that represents the excellence of Mughal architecture. Fort also serves as a vantage point to view Taj Mahal and it is believed that emperor spent his last days in exile watching the Taj Mahal from here. Later visit to Pearl Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

1500 to 1530 hours

Finally before driving back to Delhi, en-route visit to Tomb of Emperor Akbar at Sikandra, this is one of the finest examples of Hindu and Mughal fusion architecture. Return to Delhi around 2130 hours & dropping at International airport or hotel . Tour concludes with happy memories(End one day tour to agra).
